Tom Babb has a diverse work experience in the media and production industry. Tom started working as an Assistant Chief Photographer at KSHB FOX-41 in 1992 and later moved on to become a Video Production Manager at Young Life in 1995. Tom then worked as an Assistant Chief Photographer at KTUL-TV from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they served as a Production Manager at Clearvision Productions. Subsequently, they joined KSHB-TV as a Photojournalist from 2003 to 2005. Tom then worked as an Aerial Photojournalist at Helicopters, Inc from 2005 to 2011. In 2011, they became self-employed and worked as a Freelance Videographer, producing, writing, shooting, and editing online and broadcast video content. Tom also managed business-to-business development and client relations in Kansas City. In 2012, they briefly served as a Freelance Business Development Executive at Outpost Worldwide, Inc. Finally, in 2015, they joined Wolfe Automotive Group as a Merchandise and Photography Director.

Tom Babb attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a degree in Broadcast Communications. Tom also attended Shawnee Mission East, but the exact years of attendance and degree obtained are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Tom completed the After Effects Course 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 from UDEMY in February 2013, and the After Effects course from UDEMY in February 2012.
