Colten Spivey

Colten Spivey is a skilled product engineer with extensive experience in engineering and research across various sectors. Currently, Colten serves as a Product Engineer at Wolfspeed since December 2022 and previously held the same title at Summus Medical Laser from August 2020 to December 2022. As a Co-Founder of TremorTrainer, Colten developed a device to mitigate tremors associated with Parkinson's disease, achieving second place in the televised competition InVenture, resulting in a $10,000 award and a utility patent. Colten's academic background includes being a Materials Innovation and Learning Lab Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where responsibilities included managing a lab space and developing training procedures. Additionally, Colten has conducted significant research in various capacities at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Under Armour, focusing on material sciences and innovation. Colten earned a degree from Georgia Tech, completing studies between 2015 and 2020.
