Jason Mahoney

Jason Mahoney, MBA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in capital investment and procurement management. Currently serving as the Capital Investment Controller at Wolfspeed since August 2022, Jason oversees compliance for $4 billion in capital spending and has developed a comprehensive capital process document. Prior to this role, Jason spent over two decades at Texas Instruments, where notable positions included Controller for Worldwide Procurement & Logistics, Finance Director for both Worldwide Procurement & Logistics and Sales and Applications, and Finance Manager for the Storage Products Group. Throughout the career, Jason has demonstrated a strong ability to manage substantial budgetary responsibilities, improve financial processes, and achieve significant cost savings, including $20 million in freight recovery processes and $6 million in manufacturing improvements. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA with a focus on Finance and Operations Management from The University of Texas at Dallas.
