Riya Paul

Riya Paul, Ph.D., is currently employed as a Hardware Development Engineer at Wolfspeed, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Riya served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas from August 2018 to July 2023, as well as a Power Module Design Intern at Wolfspeed in the summer of 2022. Riya's early experience includes research internships at the National Institute of Technology Silchar, focusing on 3D Optimization of wireless sensor networks, and at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, where projects included devising models for in-vivo hemoglobin and glucose level measurement and exploring fiber optics applications. Riya holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.
