Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in leading teams and driving technological initiatives in various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Wolfspeed since July 2023, Simon previously held the same title at Proofpoint, where responsibilities included establishing a team in Belfast for the modernization of enterprise email security software. Prior to that, Simon was Head of Technology at Enthuse, overseeing the development of a technical roadmap, and founded Primo Events, an online event registration platform that became a leading supplier in the charity sector. Earlier roles include Analyst Programmer at Citi and Programmer at AMT Sybex, with foundational education in Computer Science, earning an MEng from Queen's University Belfast.
