Vasilis Zoupas

Vasilis Zoupas has extensive experience in the business and finance industries. Vasilis began their career in 2006 as an Engineer & Team Leader at the Hellenic Navy Academy, where they led a team of 5 seamen-engineers to conduct reconstruction study of the historic battleship U/K Averof. In 2007, they joined 3K Technical as a Project Manager, where they managed multifunctional teams of up to 40 employees during highway construction projects and school rehabilitation programs. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Partner at OVAL STUDIO, where they designed marketing campaigns, implemented brand repositioning and established customer reporting processes. Vasilis then joined Vermantia in 2012, where they held three different roles, including Head of Product, Strategy Advisor and Head of Business Development for Social Games. In 2017, they joined Viva Wallet (vivawallet.com) as a Product Manager for E-commerce, and then OKTO as Product Director. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Co-Founder & CEO of Woli Fintech, where they lead business planning, corporate strategy and product roadmap execution, as well as go-to-market strategy and European roll-out plans.

Vasilis Zoupas obtained their Diploma from Athens College in 2000, followed by an MSc. in Structural Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2000 and 2006. In 2011, they completed their MBA in Strategy & Innovation from INSEAD. In 2016, they obtained a Design Thinking for Innovation certification from Coursera's University of Virginia. Lastly, in 2019, they completed the Oxford Fintech Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
