Barb Forlano

Barb Forlano serves as the Business Improvement Coordinator at Wollongong City Council since March 2022, focusing on developing and implementing business improvement strategies while leading service reviews. Previously, at the University of Wollongong, Barb held various senior roles, including Senior Manager of Current Student Communications, where responsibilities encompassed marketing strategy development and communication tactics. As Change and Communications Lead, Barb spearheaded comprehensive plans for the rollout of digital academic documents. Additional experience includes positions at TOWER Australia, where Barb provided executive assistance across multiple departments. Barb holds a Graduate Certificate in Management of Organisational Development & Change from Charles Sturt University, a Certificate IV in Human Resource Management from TAFE NSW, and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Wollongong.
