John Monteleone

John Monteleone has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. John began their career as a BHP Officer at BHP Port Kembla in 1979, where they worked until 1989. John then moved on to become the Visual Arts Coordinator at DET from 1994 to 1996. Following this, they joined Wollongong City Gallery in 2000 as the Deputy Director, a role they held until 2008. In 2009, they became the Gallery Program Director at Wollongong Art Gallery under the Wollongong City Council.

John Monteleone attended the University of Wollongong from 1988 to 1992. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA) and a Diploma of Education (DP EDU) with a focus on Visual and Performing Arts.
