Mitchell Thorpe

Mitchell Thorpe is currently serving as the Smart Illawarra Shoalhaven Project Officer at Shoalhaven City Council since September 2023. Previously, from January 2017, Mitchell has held various roles at Wollongong City Council, including Service Partner - Corporate, Technical Business Analyst HRP OneCouncil, Business Intelligence Analyst, Coordinator Service Partner - Corporate, Systems Accounting Officer, and Systems Cadet. Key achievements include system administration of Finance, Supply Chain, and Corporate Performance Management modules, technical development of reporting and business processes, application of ITIL service management practices, leadership in change management, and participation in data migration activities. Mitchell has also contributed to data governance and reporting using Microsoft Azure and Power BI. Educational qualifications were obtained from the University of Wollongong between 2016 and 2020.
