Ryan Cook

Ryan Cook is an experienced Economic Development Officer at Wollongong City Council since November 2017, focusing on business support and investment attraction. In an acting role as Strategic Project Officer, Ryan led the Wollongong Industrial Lands Review 2023. Previous experience includes independent international travel across Asia, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East from March 2015 to September 2017, as well as serving as a Financial Analyst and Graduate Analyst at NSW Treasury from February 2012 to March 2015. Ryan began a professional trajectory as a Peer Assisted Study Sessions Leader at the University of Wollongong, where Ryan also earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance and a minor in Quantitative Analysis in Economics.
