Rita Almela

Rita Almela is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation, business development, and venture building. Currently serving as the Head of Innovation and New Business Development at the World Trade Center Barcelona, Rita also holds board member positions at Tech Barcelona and CaixaBank Payments & Consumer, where Rita presides over the Risk Committee. As a co-founder and partner at 101 Ventures, Rita has played a pivotal role in several initiatives, including 5G Ventures, The Data Venture, Wolo, and Campsite Academy, all focused on leveraging technology to drive innovation and disruption in various sectors. Rita's educational background includes studies at prestigious institutions such as IESE Business School, the University of Cambridge, and Universitat de Barcelona, with a degree in Economics.
