Tim Bauer

Tim Bauer is an experienced professional in machine learning and data engineering, currently serving as the Team Lead for the ML Platform Team at Wolt since September 2021, where Tim leads a team of engineers to build and maintain an in-house ML stack utilized by over 40 Data Scientists. Prior to this role, Tim held positions including Technical Lead at Climate Farmers, focusing on soil carbon modeling solutions, and Data Science Lead at Supper & Supper GmbH, where responsibilities included overseeing a team and developing a 3D AI analysis platform. Tim also has a background as a Data Scientist at Data Science Retreat, where an AI for bird species classification was developed, and as a Python Developer focused on GIS projects for Malmö municipality. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science from Lund University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Philosophy from Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
