Elana Person is an accomplished professional in user experience and research, currently serving as Director of CX/UX Research at Wolters Kluwer since February 2020, where responsibilities include reducing uncertainty in product development through user research. Prior to this role, Elana spent over 21 years at MathWorks, rising from Senior Usability Specialist to Senior Manager of Design Automation UX Group, successfully scaling a UX team from 5 to over 30 members and ensuring strategic involvement of UX in company initiatives. Earlier experience includes a summer internship as a Technical Support Engineer at Solutia, Inc., focused on database applications and IT support. Elana holds a Master's degree in Human Factors and Information Design from Bentley University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
