Tom Burgmans

Tom Burgmans is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and product management. Currently serving as the Principal Product Software Engineer at Wolters Kluwer since September 2008, Tom leads teams focused on enhancing online products through advanced search solutions. Previously, as the Lead Technology Product Owner for the Search team, Tom ensured the delivery of a cutting-edge Search Service, while also developing high-quality Enterprise Search solutions as an Enterprise Search Specialist. Before joining Wolters Kluwer, Tom worked as a Technical Consultant at Autonomy Benelux, and held the role of Webmaster at Vacansoleil Camping Holidays. Tom began a career in software engineering at Philips Digital Systems Laboratory, where responsibilities included automated testing and integration for set-top box components. Tom's educational background includes a degree from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
