Kent Maybank

Kent Maybank is an experienced I&C Technician at Wolverine Power Cooperative since July 2022, with extensive background in the electrical utility industry. Prior experience includes serving as a P&C Commissioning Specialist at Premier Power Maintenance from June 2016 to July 2022, where Kent demonstrated a strong understanding of substation safety practices, relaying fundamentals, and SCADA communications. Kent has hands-on experience with various relay systems, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting, alongside knowledge of NERC compliance and the use of specialized software such as RTS and Doble. Earlier career experience includes a role as General Foreman at Roof Renew of Michigan from September 2012 to January 2016. Kent holds an Associate’s Degree in Utility Technologies from Alpena Community College and a high school diploma from Inland Lakes High School.
