Thomas Osborne Jr. has extensive work experience in the field of information management and technology within the military healthcare sector. Thomas currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Womack Army Medical Center since 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at BLANCHFIELD ARMY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL from 2017 to 2022. Thomas also served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center from 2015 to 2017.
Thomas has significant leadership experience, having served as a Company Commander and Health Information Systems Officer at 21st Combat Support Hospital from 2012 to 2015. Thomas was responsible for all communications within the hospital as the S6 Officer in Charge. Thomas also served as the Battalion S6 at 11th Military Police Battalion from 2011 to 2012.

Thomas started their career as a Signal Support Systems Specialist at 5th Ranger Training Battalion from 2005 to 2007.
Thomas Osborne Jr. attended Georgia Southern University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Regional Economic Development. In addition, they obtained certifications including a Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) from (ISC)² in December 2021 and a CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in May 2021.
