Amy Feezor has a long history of work experience in the creative industry. Amy began their career in 2000 as a Marketing Associate for Ziff Davis Media. In 2002, they joined Time Inc. - Growth Markets Group as a Copywriter, where they wrote original copy, managed freelance Spanish writers, and was responsible for conceptual work and project management. In 2006, they moved to U.S. News & World Report as the Copy Director, Creative Services, where they were responsible for conceptual work, project management, writing original copy, copy editing, research, and directing freelance writers. In 2007, they became the Copy Director for Real Simple, where they directed a full spectrum of innovative, results-driven communication solutions for print and digital marketing platforms, event and retail programs, and licensed products. In 2010, they joined Herman Miller as a Freelance Writer and Editor, managing the iconic design brand's "Lifework" blog and producing five weekly posts. In 2012, they became Self-Employed, M-Dashing Creative LLC as a Creative Director, Writer, and Content Strategist, working with clients such as Real Simple, Under the Canopy, Earthbound Brands, Womaness, BBC America, OWN, MSG Entertainment, MNI, Levo League, Haven in Paris, Southern Living, Herman Miller, Abrams Books, Mediabistro, UBOOKER, Readly, Martini Media, All You, Women's Marketing Inc., Naturally, Danny Seo Magazine, Ecofabulous, Every Day with Rachael Ray Magazine, Domaine, SUCCESS, and more. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Womaness as the Head of Content.
Amy Feezor holds a MA in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA in English (magna cum laude) from James Madison University.
