Gwen Young is a seasoned leader in women's leadership and international development with extensive experience in various high-profile roles. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Women Business Collaborative since 2020, Gwen has effectively driven membership growth and doubled fundraising efforts. In addition to these roles, Gwen is a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University's Elliot School of International Affairs, focusing on women's leadership in public service. Previous positions include Managing Director of the Global Emergency Response Coalition, Program Director at The Wilson Center, and Country Director for Africare. Gwen's strong background in policy advocacy and humanitarian affairs is complemented by a robust educational foundation, including a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis, and a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
