Current involvement includes membership on the Forbes Business Council Advisory Council and participation in the Women Business Collaborative Leadership Council. Ackerman's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University and completion of leadership programs at Stagen Leadership Academy and Lubar College of Business.
