Judy Miyashita has a diverse work experience history. Judy began their career in 2002 as a Quality Administrator at Medica and later transitioned to the University of Chicago, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant for the South Asia Center. In 2006, they joined the Center for Economic Progress as an Executive Assistant and later became the Communications Manager for the National Community Tax Coalition. In 2009, Judy joined Women Employed as a Communications Associate, eventually progressing to Senior Communications Associate and then Director of Marketing and Communications in 2018. Judy's expertise lies in marketing and communications with a focus on advocacy and non-profit organizations.
Judy Miyashita pursued their higher education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Carleton College. Judy attended Carleton College from 1998 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the University of Chicago and earned a Master of Arts degree in Social Sciences from 2004 to 2005.
