Yasmeen Hassan

Yasmeen Hassan is an accomplished leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Principal at My Yellow Brick Road LLC since February 2024, providing strategic planning and consulting services to various organizations. As an International Board Member for Women for Women International since April 2023, Yasmeen helps shape the governance direction of the organization. Yasmeen has been a Board Member of Musawah since January 2018, contributing to recruitment and finance strategies. Previously, as Global Executive Director of Equality Now from October 2008 to January 2023, Yasmeen significantly expanded the organization’s reach and budget while earning the International Gender Equality Prize and a major grant from MacKenzie Scott. Yasmeen's career includes roles at the United Nations Division for the Advancement of Women and Davis Polk & Wardwell, with a focus on women’s rights, corporate law, and extensive pro bono work. Yasmeen holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College.
