Telle is a senior executive leader, recognized expert on diversity and women in technology, Computer Scientist, and entrepreneur. She served as CEO of the non-profit organization, the Anita Borg Institute from 2002 to September 2017, building it from a struggling and very new non-profit to a world-recognized leader reaching over 750,000 people globally. Telle led the strategic vision, grew the revenue to $28 million, and created a formidable Board of Directors.
Telle now serves on the board of AI4All, and the Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities (CMD-IT), and chairs the board of Power and Systems. Her expertise is to advise on how to scale the organization and develop board governance. She also serves on several academic boards including the Caltech IST advisory board and the evaluation committee for the National Medal of Technology (NMTI).
Telle works with many corporations, focused on diversity and women. She serves on the advisory board of Italent Digital and regularly speak at companies. Telle has won numerous awards and was named one of Fast Company’s “Most Influential Women in Technology.”
