Christine became President and CEO of Win in 2015.
Prior to Win, she served as Special Advisor to Governor Andrew Cuomo focusing on women’s issues across New York State. Quinn served as a member of the New York City council from 1999-2013 and served for 7 years as the elected Speaker of the New York City Council, making her the first woman and the first openly gay Speaker – as well as highest-ranking openly gay official in City history. Prior to serving in elected office she was the Chief of Staff to New York City Councilmember Tom Duane, and was Executive Director of the Anti-Violence Project. Christine Quinn currently serves on the board of Athlete Ally, an organization dedicated to ending homophobia and transphobia in sports, and NARAL Pro-Choice New York. She recently served as a Harvard University Institute of Politics Spring 2015 Fellow.
