Jennifer Demeter

Jennifer (Fustino) Demeter is a seasoned philanthropy professional currently serving as the Philanthropy Officer for Major Gifts at Women & Infants Hospital since August 2024. Prior to this role, Jennifer held various positions at the URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement from March 2020 to August 2024, including Director of Development for Academic Initiatives and Senior Associate Director of Family Engagement. Jennifer's experience also includes serving as Associate Director of Advancement at the New England Science & Sailing Foundation from April 2019 to March 2020, and a series of roles at Johnson & Wales University from November 2005 to April 2019, culminating in the position of Manager of Campaign Development. Jennifer holds an MBA in Global Business Leadership and Marketing from Johnson & Wales University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Sports/Entertainment/Event Management with a focus on Sales & Meeting Management from the same institution, complemented by education at Boston University’s Metropolitan College in 2016.
