Madeleine Ray

Madeleine Ray is an experienced professional in the fields of environmental management and sustainability, currently serving on the Board of Directors at Second Street Gallery since October 2023. At The AES Corporation, Madeleine has held the roles of Project Manager and Senior Analyst in Permitting since December 2021. As the Founder and a member of the Leadership Committee for the WRISE Charlottesville Chapter, Madeleine has made significant contributions to advancing women in renewable energy. Previous positions include serving on the Board of Directors at CvilleREA and working as an Environmental Permitting Specialist and Corporate Sustainability Manager at Apex Clean Energy. With experience in marketing and sustainability consultancy, including a role as Marketing Manager at Sigora Solar, Madeleine's career spans various domains within environmental science. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Corporate Social Responsibility with Environmental Management from the University of York and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Ohio University.
