Trina Whiteside

Trina Whiteside currently serves as Chapter Leader for the Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE), where efforts focus on organizing events and fostering community in New York City. As Offshore SCADA Project Manager at Vestas, Trina leads the implementation of wind turbine SCADA and telecommunications systems for offshore wind projects in the United States, including Empire Wind I. Previous experience includes serving as Technical Project Manager and Product Owner in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included the development of a communication control system and management of over $100 million in contracts. Trina began their career as a Design Engineering Intern at Taney Engineering, focusing on local real estate development projects. Trina holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Lehigh University and is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.
