LaWanda B has extensive experience in privacy and information security, currently serving as Chief Privacy Officer at the U.S. Small Business Administration since September 2019 and at a Federal Government Agency since February 2022. Previous roles include Chief Privacy Officer for USDA, where responsibilities involved facilitating the USDA Privacy Program and ensuring compliance with federal laws and best practices, as well as drafting key privacy assessments and notices. Additionally, LaWanda had a career as a Realtor at Amber Realty and Investments from 2005 to 2014 and served as Secretary for the Hazelwood East PTSA from 2008 to 2010. LaWanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Columbia College.
