Elizabeth Walsh is the President of Women's Business Enterprise Center East (WBEC East) since December 2017. Prior to this role, Elizabeth worked as the Vice President at The Institutes and as the Executive Director at Bucks County Workforce Development Board. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Services/Criminal Justice from the University of Scranton, as well as a Certificate in Association Management from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Opening the doors of Opportunity The Women’s Business Enterprise Council East (WBEC East) is a purchasing council for certified women’s business enterprises (WBEs). The Council provides WBENC women business enterprise certification as well as educational, networking, procurement-related, and informational programs and services that foster growth and business opportunities between WBEs and purchasing entities, including major corporations and government agencies. WBEC East also is the third-party certifier of women-owned businesses for the City of Philadelphia, the State of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Women-Owned Small Business Program.
