Alex Okoroji

President, Wef-west Africa at Women Economic Forum (WEF)

Alex Okoroji, DPhil has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alex is currently the Global Chair for Media Arts & Communication at G100: Mission Million, leading a global network of women in various segments of media arts and communication. Alex is also the President of the Nigeria-India Business Council at the Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, working to forge commercial ties between Nigeria and India and empower women-owned businesses. Alex is the Founder and President of G-Woman Media, a global multimedia corporation amplifying the voices of talented and influential women. Alex has also served as the CEO and Chief Creative Director of The BRAG Media Company, a global creative media agency, and has worked as a Creative Consultant, supporting individuals and organizations in expressing their brilliance and reinventing their brands. Alex has been actively involved with the Women Economic Forum (WEF) as the President of WEF-West Africa and as a member of the Advisory Executive Council. Alex has also contributed to the growth and development of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) as the Director of Brand Communications & Relations and the Director of International Affiliations. In addition to their work in media and business, Alex is a renowned writer and speaker, empowering audiences with The NAKED Philosophy and expressing herself through various forms of writing, including essays, poems, and screenplays.

Alex Okoroji, DPhil has a diverse education history. Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Houdegbe North American University Benin in 2010. Alex later pursued a Professional Certificate in Marketing & Communications from the International Business Management Institute (IBMI) in 2019. In 2020, they completed a Certificate in Brand Management from the University of London, and also earned additional certifications as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC) from IMC-Nigeria. Currently, they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) degree from Rai University, which is expected to be completed in 2022. Alongside their educational pursuits, Alex also acquired a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.
