Dr. Rebeca Forero has a diverse work experience, spanning across various organizations and roles. In 2018, they started their own business, Blue Tie Corporate Events, where they served as the owner. In 2019, they became the CEO of Key Element. From 2020 to the present, they have held several leadership positions, including President of the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce, President of the Kiwanis Club of the Gulf Coast, and a board member of Kiwanis Siesta Key. In 2021, they joined the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of EDC Sarasota County. Additionally, starting in 2021, Dr. Forero served as the Port of Manatee International Trade Hub Ambassador at the International Trade Hub Port Manatee. In 2022, they co-founded RECAST VALLEY and EDUCATE Co-Working and Learning Center. Dr. Rebeca also became the President of the Intl. Convention of Human Rights and Migration USA. Most recently, in 2023, they became the President of the Women Economic Forum (WEF).
Dr. Rebeca Forero holds a Doctor's Degree in Honoris Causa from the Universal Doctoral Cloister for Peace and Human Rights and Migration at the University of Bantuland. Dr. Rebeca also has a Master's degree in Education from CEVER SIGLO XXI in Veracruz. In addition, they studied Criminal Justice and Corrections at Hillsborough Community College. Dr. Forero has obtained various certifications, including the III PREMIO INTERNATIONAL MAHATMA GANDHI, a Ponente Magistral en los Paneles Inteligentes, and a Human Rights Education Training. Dr. Rebeca also holds certifications in areas such as diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, advertising foundations, and professional networking.
