Catherine van der Meulen

Catherine van der Meulen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in leadership and community engagement, particularly focused on environmental advocacy and women's entrepreneurship. As Co-Founder of Girls who Grow, Catherine aims to inspire the next generation of wāhine changemakers in agriculture. Catherine founded Climate Action Marlborough and launched Climate Action Week in February 2023 to promote awareness and action towards a sustainable future within the local business community. Additionally, Catherine is the Founder and Director of Entrepreneurial Women with Purpose, advocating for impactful business practices across New Zealand. Catherine serves as the New Zealand South Island Ambassador for the Women's Entrepreneurship Day Organization and is a Board Member of UN Women Aotearoa New Zealand. With a background in partnerships and community development through previous roles at THiNK Business Services, TradeSquare, and Greener, Catherine combines educational experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Swinburne University of Technology.
