Grace Sarmiento

Grace Sarmiento is an experienced educator and entrepreneur with a focus on women's economic development and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Docente at Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana since January 2022, Sarmiento also founded Aliadas Honduras, a social business aimed at empowering women in vulnerable areas through virtual assistant training. Sarmiento has been active in the TED community as an organizer for TEDxSanPedroSulaWomen and holds the position of Honduras Ambassador for Women's Entrepreneurship Day. Additionally, Sarmiento has gained experience as a mentor in the Emprende Rocket program and has co-founded Women Do Tech, a center promoting digital inclusion for women. Previous roles include Sales Manager at BIDSS Technology and Quality Assurance Analyst at Zero Variance. Sarmiento holds a Bachelor in Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ceutec Honduras.
