Saskia Binet currently serves as the Middle East North Africa Coordinator for the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) since August 2022. Prior experience includes various roles at UN Women in Libya from July 2017 to January 2022, where Saskia specialized in Women Peace and Security as a Analyst and participated in projects focused on ending violence against women. Previous internships include support for AdvocAid Sierra Leone’s initiatives on education and justice for women and girls, as well as a position at the Department for Work and Pensions. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Cambridge University Lunchtime Concert Series. Academic qualifications encompass a Master’s in Political Science focused on Conflict Studies and Peacebuilding from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Peace Mediation and Dialogue from the University of Basel, and a degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
