Carla Carter

Carla Carter serves as the Chief of Staff at Wonder Women Tech since June 2025, focusing on operational efficiency and cross-functional execution while supporting the mission to amplify diverse voices in STEAM. In addition, Carla is the Founder and Strategic Event Partner at FiveTwoSix4. Previous roles include Manager of the Global Educator Network and Design at Duke Corporate Education, Program Manager, and Training and Event Planner at the UNC School of Social Work. Earlier career highlights involve serving as an Admissions Counselor at Bennett College, Event Coordinator at Revolution Mill, and contributions to fundraising initiatives at the Robeson County Partnership for Children. Carla began in event planning with an internship at SkyView on Hay and holds a Master of Science in Leadership/Non-profit management from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications/Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
