Samantha Anstiss has extensive work experience in the media industry. Samantha is the Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Wonderhood Studios since October 2018. Prior to that, they worked at the BBC, where they held various roles including Creative Director of Auntie Productions from June 2014 to June 2018, Commissioning Editor of Documentaries from June 2012 to June 2014, and Commissioning Executive Producer of Features, Formats, and Documentaries from June 2010 to June 2012. Samantha also served as the Executive Producer of Current Affairs at the BBC from 2002 to 2010.

Samantha Anstiss began their education at Fernhill Comprehensive School, where they attended from 1980 to 1985. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Queen Marys Sixth Form College from 1985 to 1987. During their time there, they focused their studies on History, English, and Drama. Following this, Samantha pursued higher education at The University of Manchester. From 1988 to 1991, they attended the university and earned a BA Honours degree in Drama.
