Simon Elvins

Co-founder & Head Of Art at Wonderhood Studios

Simon Elvins has a range of work experience in graphic design and art direction. Simon is currently serving as the Head of Art at Wonderhood Studios since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Design Director at Wonderhood Studios starting from January 2021. Elvins founded their own venture, Simon Elvins, in 2005 and has been working as a Founder & Graphic Designer since then. Simon has collaborated with various institutions and organizations such as the Whitechapel Gallery, British Council, Royal College of Art, De La Warr Pavilion, Middlesex University, Goldsmiths University, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and Clare Cumberlidge & Co. In addition, Elvins worked as a Senior Designer at Wieden+Kennedy from June 2013 to December 2020, where they focused on brand and campaign identities across various media platforms. Simon also worked as a Graphic Designer at JWT, alongside the Head of Art and founder of Tomato, Graham Wood, from 2011 to 2013. Elvins was a Co-Founder and Graphic Designer at St. Pierre & Miquelon, a collaboration for socially engaged art and design activities, from 2006 to 2013. Simon has also undertaken freelance graphic design roles at INT Works in 2011, NB Studio from 2005 to 2011, and BB Studio from 2008 to 2009. Elvins also has experience as a Visiting Lecturer at Middlesex University and completed a graphic design internship at Spin in 2006.

Simon Elvins has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design, which they obtained from Camberwell College of Art between the years 2000 to 2003. Simon further pursued their education at the Royal College of Art and completed a Master's degree in Communication Art & Design from 2004 to 2006.
