Ziyaad C. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ziyaad is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer at Wonderlabz since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Armata Cyber Security as a Cyber Security Specialist from March 2022 to November 2022. In this role, they were responsible for cybersecurity pre-sales, business development, and account management. Ziyaad drove sales for various security products including Fortinet firewalling, endpoint security, email security, Identity & Access Management, and Privileged Access Management. Ziyaad also conducted pre-sales scope, solution design, and feasibility checks for all aspects of cybersecurity, including penetration testing and Microsoft licensing solutions.

Before joining Armata Cyber Security, Ziyaad worked at LiveSecure as a Sales Manager for seven years, from February 2015 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were the Key Manager - Encryption at Altech Corporate from May 2006 to March 2009, and a Key Account Manager at VERISIGN from February 2001 to April 2006.

Ziyaad C. has an extensive education background, starting with their studies at Stanger Secondary School from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained their Matric qualification. Ziyaad then pursued further education in the field of Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.

In 1999, Ziyaad attended IT-IQ and earned a Certificate in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and also completed a course in A+ (Information Technology). These courses provided him with a solid foundation in IT skills.

Ziyaad continued to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity through various certifications. In 2006, they obtained the Certified Cryptographic Key Manager designation from VeriSign Inc. (Symanteq). In 2007, they further expanded their expertise with a Certified PKI Infrastructure Management qualification from VeriSign Incorporated.

Ziyaad's education history also includes certifications in different areas of cybersecurity. In 2022, they completed training and certification programs from Mimecast (Advanced Email & Collaboration Security), Fortinet (Cybersecurity), and Tenable Online University (Vulnerability Management & Assessment), which added to their expertise.

Ziyaad's education is not limited to cybersecurity as they have also pursued other areas of interest. In 2022, they completed AWS Training & Certification, earning a certificate in AWS Cloud. Ziyaad also completed a course in ISO27001 Lead Auditor from Noble Work Foundation in the same year.

Lastly, in 2023, Ziyaad obtained a degree in Measurements & Metrics with a specialization in Risk Management from the Noble Work Foundation. Ziyaad had previously enrolled in a Risk Planning in Agile & Scrum program in 2022 and earned a certificate in Risk Management from the same institution.

Ziyaad's education highlights their commitment to continuously improving their skills and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, as well as exploring related areas such as risk management and cloud computing.
