Savannah Mann has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Hostess at The Shortmarket Club in 2016. Savannah then worked as a Stewardess on The Mirage 760 Luxury Yacht before transitioning to the field of design. From 2017 to 2018, they served as an Apprentice at Vorster & Braye Ceramic Design, where they gained experience in production and studio sales. Savannah continued their career as a Ceramicist at WIID Design, taking charge of managing and running the ceramic studio. In 2019, they worked as an Interior Design/Sales Associate at Roche Bobois. Savannah then transitioned to the field of UX/UI design, working as a UX Researcher at Learning Sandbox, a UX/UI Designer at Itopia Interactive, a R&D Technical Writer at Techtr33, and a UX/Product Designer at Lulalend. Currently, they hold the position of CX Digital Lead at Wonga, where they are responsible for leading digital customer experience initiatives.
Savannah Mann has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Industrial and Product Design from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, obtained in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Industrial and Product Design from the same university between 2012 and 2015. Savannah Mann also holds a Matric qualification from St Cyprians School, completed from 2000 to 2011. In addition to these academic qualifications, they have obtained additional certifications such as "Become a UX Designer from Scratch" and "User Experience: The Beginner's Guide" from The Interaction Design Foundation, acquired in 2020.
