Terri A. Cummings

Terri is a licensed pediatric physician and an IP trainee-physician with a strong interest in IP law and ongoing training in patent preparation and prosecution. As a scientist with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), she evaluated data and reports on pharmaceutical drug complications and determined safety and effectiveness of new drugs. She also reviewed data submitted by sponsors of Investigational New Drug (IND) Applications and New Drug Applications (NDAs) to support marketing efforts and determined scientific validity of manufacturers’ tests for drug safety and efficacy.
