Dylan Mair has extensive experience in the oil, gas, and sequestration sector, with a focus on upstream operations. Dylan currently works at Wood Mackenzie as the Vice President Upstream and Carbon Management, where they provide consulting services to companies, governments, and organizations. Prior to this, Dylan worked at AlphaGen Venture Capital as a Mentor, and at S&P Global as the Executive Director of Global Upstream Content Support. Dylan also held various roles at IHS Markit, including Executive Director of Global Upstream Customer Success and Senior Director of Operations, Energy Asia Pacific. Earlier in their career, Dylan worked at Halliburton (Landmark) in various positions. Overall, they have 25 years of experience in upstream operations consulting, asset valuation, exploration strategy, CCS modeling, and digitalization.

Dylan Mair completed a Masters in Information & Data Science from the UC Berkeley School of Information between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they pursued Bachelors and postgraduate studies in Geophysics at the University of Melbourne from 1987 to 1995. In 2004, they also attended the CWC Group in London for Executive Education and obtained a degree in O&G Mini MBA.
