Erik Mielke

Erik Mielke has extensive work experience in various industries. Erik currently holds the position of SVP Global Head of Corporate Research at Wood Mackenzie since January 2020. Prior to that, they also served as SVP Global Head of Corporate Research at the same company from 2012 to 2019. Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Erik Mielke worked as VP of Business Development & Commercial at Buried Hill Energy from 2012 to 2019. Erik also held the role of Non-Executive Director at Antrim Energy Inc., a TSX and AIM-listed independent exploration and production company, from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Partner at Namir Capital from 2011 to 2012, and as a Research Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School from 2010 to 2011. Erik Mielke's earlier experience includes roles as Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2005 to 2009, Director at Dresdner Kleinwort from 2000 to 2005, and Manager at Ernst & Young from 1994 to 2000.

Erik Mielke completed their education at different institutions. In 1988-1989, they attended Øregård Gymnasium. Following that, from 1989-1991, they pursued an International Baccalaureate at UWC Adriatic. Moving forward, they enrolled at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1991-1994 to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Lastly, in 2009-2010, Erik attended the Harvard Kennedy School, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration degree with a specialization in Energy Policy.
