Natalie Biggs

Natalie Biggs, MBA, MS has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Natalie currently holds the position of Director, Global Head of Base Metal Markets at Wood Mackenzie, a role they have been in since October 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director, Global Head of Thermal Coal Markets from October 2021 to November 2023. Natalie also held various positions within Wood Mackenzie, including Director, Americas Thermal Coal Lead from March 2021 to October 2021, Thermal Coal Research Lead - Americas from January 2019 to March 2021, and Product Suite Director of Coal from August 2018 to December 2018. Natalie started their career at Wood Mackenzie as a Research Analyst in May 2007 and was promoted to Senior Research Analyst in March 2013. Natalie also worked at Hill and Associates as a Research Associate from October 2006 to May 2007. Throughout their career, they have produced analysis and written content for global coal market outlooks, maintained client relationships, and served as a project manager on consulting projects and product enhancements.

Natalie Biggs holds a Master of Finance degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they earned from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same university during the years 2009 to 2011. Natalie also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Economics from Frostburg State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
