Roy Brown

Roy Brown is a Senior Software Engineer at Wood Mackenzie, focusing on building data infrastructure utilizing Python and AWS CDK since November 2023. Previously, Roy held the role of Data Engineer (Python & AWS) at Techspert from May 2022 to November 2023. Prior to this, Roy worked at Frazer-Nash Consultancy in various positions, including Senior Engineer in Renewable Energy Analysis and Engineer in Control Systems and Algorithms from November 2017 to May 2022. Roy began a career at Rolls-Royce as a Quantitative NDE Research Engineer from October 2013 to November 2017. Academically, Roy holds a Doctor of Engineering in Non-Destructive Testing and an MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with International Study from the University of Strathclyde, alongside a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
