Paul Barber has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Paul began their career as a Help Desk Level 1 support at Old Time Pottery LLC, where they were responsible for recording and processing incidents and service requests. Paul then moved on to Atos, where they served in multiple roles including Help Desk Level II, Exchange Administrator, Helpdesk Level III, and Process Analyst. At Atos, they provided technical support, analyzed customer issues, and managed Active Directory and Exchange environments. After Atos, Paul worked as a Desktop Field Engineer Tier 2 at TechSoft Systems, where they assisted and trained end users on software issues and provided desktop maintenance and support. Their most recent role is as Director of Cybersecurity and IT Architecture at Wood-Mizer LLC, where they lead efforts in developing and implementing secure IT systems and infrastructure. Paul is responsible for executing cybersecurity strategies and ensuring systems are compliant and meet business needs.

Paul Barber has a diverse education history. Paul obtained a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from Purdue Global, completing their studies from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Business Information Systems from Indiana Wesleyan University, studying from 2018 to 2020. In 2013 to 2015, Paul attended ITT Technical Institute-Norwood, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration.

In addition to their academic degrees, Paul also holds two certifications. In July 2022, they received a Purdue University Global e-Diploma from Purdue University Global. Furthermore, in March 2015, they obtained a certification in Criminal Justice Information System Security & Awareness from The California Department of Justice.
