Tekerra Young is an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background in various financial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Preferred Residential Management, LLC since September 2017, Tekerra has also held positions as an Accountant at Carroll Organization and as a Property Accountant at Wood Partners since 2014. Additional experience includes work at Intown Suites, where Tekerra has served in multiple capacities including Senior Accountant, Tax Accountant, and Payroll Associate. Key competencies include fixed assets, journal entries, bank reconciliations, balance sheets, accruals, sales and use taxes, and payroll processing. Tekerra is pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance at Georgia State University and has previously completed a Master's degree in the same field from American InterContinental University, along with education at Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
