Teresa Weakley

Teresa Weakley is a seasoned broadcast journalist with extensive experience in news anchoring and reporting. Currently serving as the Primary Morning News Anchor at WOOD TV8 since September 2016, Teresa previously held the role of Primary Morning Anchor at WIVB/WNLO-TV from September 2013 to September 2016, where responsibilities included anchoring four hours of morning news, managing social media engagement, and conducting interviews. Earlier experience includes serving as the Primary Evening Anchor at WKBN-TV from September 2010 to August 2013, and as a Reporter at WKRN from December 2005 to August 2010, where Teresa focused on live reporting and traffic coverage. Teresa’s career began with an internship as a Production Assistant at CNN in 2004, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from New York University in 2005.
