Neil Hopkins

Neil Hopkins is a seasoned engineer with extensive expertise in naval architecture and marine engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Transport and Installation Engineer at Wood Thilsted since August 2022, Neil has held various significant positions in the industry, including Lead Discipline Structural Engineer at Silverstream Technologies and Naval Architect at KBR (UK). With previous roles at LOC, CB&I, American Bureau of Shipping, BAE Systems, and Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited, Neil possesses a robust background in design and consulting within marine technology. Neil holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Marine Technology with Honours from Newcastle University, completed in 1998.
