Paula Thomas

Paula Thomas has a diverse work experience in finance and leadership roles. Paula currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Wood Thilsted since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Nonwovenn as a Group Finance Director from 2018 to 2022, where they were responsible for financial management in a technical fabrics company. Paula also served as the Finance Director at Stirling Dynamics from 2016 to 2018, overseeing financial operations in an engineering company. Paula gained experience as the Group Finance Director at Specialist Aviation Services/Police Aviation Services from 2013 to 2016, focusing on emergency services aircraft contracts. Paula worked as the Group Financial Controller at Clip International Limited from 2008 to 2013, managing the finance function for multiple companies in the exhibition industry. Previous to that, they held the position of Group Financial Controller at Omitec Ltd in 2007-2008, where they contributed to improved financial reporting and credit control management. Lastly, Paula was the Financial Controller at Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems (UK) Limited from 2004 to 2007, in charge of financial operations in the rail industry.

Paula Thomas attended Loughborough University from 1991 to 1996, where they studied Accounting & Financial Management. Paula later obtained a FCMA from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
