Sean Beardow

Sean Beardow has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications and public relations. Sean has worked in various roles, including Communications Director at Woodfibre LNG Limited and Manager, Corporate Communications at FortisBC. Sean has also served as an independent public relations consultant, providing strategic communications planning, crisis communications, and media relations services to clients in a variety of industries. Sean has experience in managing communications for major initiatives, such as the Calgary Bid Exploration Committee's potential bid for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated the ability to develop and execute communications strategies, manage stakeholder relationships, and lead teams.

Sean Beardow earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Communications with a focus on Public Relations from Mount Royal University between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they studied Political Science at The University of Lethbridge from 1994 to 1999, obtaining a BA degree. Furthermore, Sean Beardow obtained a certification in Social Marketing from Hootsuite Academy in 2017.
