Woodford County Special Eduction Association
Sarah Nelson is a nationally certified School Psychologist with a focus on severe behavioral disorders, currently serving at the Woodford County Special Education Association since January 2019. In addition to this role, Sarah is a Graduate Assistant at Illinois State University, contributing to the CARE4U grant program dedicated to relationship education and job readiness for at-risk adolescents. Previously, Sarah worked as a Research Assistant and held various positions in horticultural maintenance, customer service, coaching, and youth engagement. Sarah holds a Specialist degree in School Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Children's Studies from Illinois State University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership at Abilene Christian University.

WCSEA is a special education joint agreement that provides a full continuum of special education services to eight school districts in Woodford County, Illinois. Mission: Meeting the educational needs of all learners with or at risk of disabilities. Vision: WCSEA will be the premier special education association.
